2020 vs. 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport

The Nissan Rogue Sport was first introduced in 2017, and the 2018 Nissan Rogue reviews were amazing enough to keep the line going. The 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport introduced various new features, including safety features like ProPilot Assist and emergency rear automatic braking on the SV and SL trim levels. The 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport has taken the lineup to a whole new level, introducing standard safety features, two new exterior color options, and brand-new design for the front and rear of the Rogue Sport.

2020 vs 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport: What's new for the Rogue Sport?

The 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport continues to be a worthwhile investment. It had multiple exterior color options, a standard 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, as well as satellite radio. The 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport ups the ante and makes available two new exterior color options in addition to those available on the 2019 lineup - the Monarch Orange metallic color, and the Nitro Lime Metallic color, as well as more options for the wheels.

Both the 2020 and 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine combined with Continuously Variable Transmission. This gives you 141 Horsepower on both the lineups. Both the lines seat five passengers, and the standard drivetrain available in both is the Front Wheel Drive. They both offer All-Wheel drive as an available upgrade. Both the 2020 and 2019 Rogue Sport's have decent fuel economy, providing an MPG of 25/32 within city limits and on the highway, with Front Wheel Drive and 24/30 with All-Wheel Drive.

The biggest upgrade for the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport is the Nissan Safety Shield 360, which is now standard in the new lineup. This provides access to safety features such as automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot warning, and more.

While both are amazing vehicles, the extra safety features in the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport give it a decided advantage against its direct predecessor.
