Two mid-sized sedans made by two of the most well-known car manufacturers – can they be compared? It probably would be unfair to pitch them against one another – although they look alike. But to be fair, we at Manchester Nissan in Manchester, CT, find that a lot of our customers have a tough decision to make – the 2019 Nissan Maxima or 2019 Toyota Camry?
Two Incomparable Giants
Both Toyota and Nissan are highly competitive brands that are head-to-head on a wide range of segments in the automobile sector. They are both Japanese manufacturers that produce some of the finest compact SUVs, midsize sedans, large SUVs, and even hybrids.
Nissan Altima vs Toyota Camry
Both are fantastic budget-oriented models and have been making a name for themselves as fuel-efficient family cars.
Nissan’s Altima has a lot to offer in terms of new design elements in the 2019 model. It has superb and luxurious seating and a comfortable cabin and is now available in an all-wheel-drive variant.
As far as reliability goes, Toyota has a long-standing reputation for manufacturing great cars, and it’s no different with its Camry. Having said that, Nissan promises reliability as well.
Seating is purely an individual taste, and as far as we can tell, both provide extremely comfortable seating. There isn't a lot of difference in terms of cabin space, with the Altima sporting a bit more room than the Camry.
While the Camry has luxurious interiors, the Altima’s insides have been revamped and are now better than Camry’s. The Camry’s cabin is a bit noisier than the Altima’s.
So, at the end of the day, there are a lot of advantages and disadvantages to both cars – it’s just a matter of choice and what suits you better. To know more, visit us at Manchester Nissan.
